私たちがリアリーライクフィルムズを発足させるにあたり最初に選択したのは、初めて長編作品を発表した新人監督と女性監督による3本のインディペンデント映画でした。この最初のセレクションが、現在もリアリーライクフィルムズのミッションとなっています。世界中の新しい才能、優れた女性監督の作品を日本に紹介することが、私たちの最大の歓びなのです。

そして私たちのもう一つの目標は、保守的で無味乾燥になりつつある映画界に、そのような新しい才能によって風穴を開けることです。

Our first selection for the launch of ReallyLikeFilms was three independent films by new and female directors who were making their first feature films. This initial selection remains the mission of ReallyLikeFilms to this day. It is our greatest pleasure to introduce new talent from all over the world and the work of outstanding female directors to Japan.

Another of our goals is to open the doors of the increasingly conservative and tasteless film industry with such new talent.
